Histology

PML performs general surgical pathology services to include frozen sections. Specialties include Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal, Breast and Urology.

Cytology

PML provides a full spectrum of cytopathology services for gynecologic specimens including routine screening and diagnostic testing.

Molecular

PML currently offers in-house molecular pathology testing services for HPV using in situ hybridization, and for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia using PCR technology.

All the pathologists at PML are board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and have a wide range of subspecialty skills, interest, and expertise to include dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, urologic pathology, cytopathology and hematopathology.

Our Investment

The rapidly growing field of molecular diagnostics has opened doors for new methods and avenues for diagnosis. DNA technology, such as in-situ hybridization, is being incorporated into our anatomic pathology practice. As this exciting area of medicine develops into clinically useful applications, PML Pathology will continue to lead the way in providing these services.
